Seda stitch art is run by Val Stead from her home in Olocau, Valencia Spain.

She has worked with silk fabric for many years, and is fascinated by the way paint spreads on silk which makes duplicating an item impossible.  Most of her embroideries are with very fine pure silk threads on a silk background.  Many of her acrylic paintings have textile details.  She also makes silk paper which is often formed into objects.
